Energy and Climate Change

In the past 12 months, INTI International University has taken measures to monitor and reduce our carbon footprint. Using calculations based on the Green Metric framework, we have estimated our carbon emissions from three main sources: electricity, cars, and motorcycles on campus.

2. CO₂ Emissions from Cars:
CO₂ emissions from cars were calculated using the formula:

The total CO₂ emissions from cars on campus are estimated at 106.75 metric tons.

3. CO₂ Emissions from Electricity:
To calculate CO₂ emissions from electricity usage, we applied the following formula:

Based on our electricity consumption, the total CO₂ emissions are estimated at 2,318.71 metric tons.

4. CO₂ Emissions from Motorcycles:
CO₂ emissions from motorcycles were calculated using a similar formula:

The total CO₂ emissions from motorcycles on campus are estimated at 2.15 metric tons.
